I knew that Shootout at Lokhandwala is a guys flick, but the moment I heard the story I knew that this film would be different from rest. And my instincts were not wrong. The kind of response I got for the role is something that I have never experienced before.
Herb Brooks: Great moments are born from great opportunity. And that's what you have here tonight, boys. That's what you've earned here, tonight. One game. If we play'em 10 times, they might win 9. But not this game. Not tonight. Tonight we skate with them. Tonight we STAY with them... , and we SHUT THEM DOWN because we can! Tonight, we are the greatest hockey team in the world. You were born to be hockey players, Every one of ya. You were meant to be here tonight. This is your game. THEIR TIME IS DONE! IT'S OVER! I'm sick and tired of hearin' about what a great hockey team the Soviets have. SCREW 'EM! This is your time, now go out there and take it!
Cogliostro: Where do the dead belong... in the world of the living? For this newest spawn, moments of peace never come. His memories are fragments of the life he once had. For a hellspawn, memories replay his soul's own personal hell...
Ryan Bingham: If you think about it, your favorite memories, the most important moments in your life... were you alone? Life's better with company.
Dr. Rosen: Imagine if you suddenly learned that the people, the places, the moments most important to you were not gone, not dead, but worse, had never been. What kind of hell would that be?
Columbus: In those moments where you're not quite sure if the undead are really dead, dead, don't get all stingy with your bullets. I mean, one more clean shot to the head, and this lady could have avoided becoming a human Happy Meal. Woulda... coulda... shoulda.
Detective Banner: [Holds up Nola's diary] have you seen this before? Christopher "Chris" Wilton: No [takes the diary and starts reading it] Detective Banner: Were you aware that Nola Rice kept a diary? Christopher "Chris" Wilton: [looks up after a few moments with a defeated looking expression on his face] no Detective Banner: Do you still claim that the last time you saw Nola Rice was at the Tate Modem over a year ago?
Corporal Upham: "War educates the senses, calls into action the will, perfects the physical constitution, brings men into such swift and close collision in critical moments that man measures man." Captain Miller: I guess that's Emerson's way of finding the bright side.
Agent J: Sweet dreams, big boy! [jabs the tranquilizer into Jeff, only aggravating him. After a few moments time, J reloads the tranquilizer] Agent J: Whoo! Sweet... [is launched forward] Agent J: dreeeeeeaaaaaaams... Agent J: [crashes through back window of a subway car] ... big boy. Transit authority people! Please move to the forward car, we got a bug in the electrical system! [passengers ignore him] Agent J: Yo! People! We got a bug in the electrical system! [Jeff bites off a large portion of the subway car, and the passengers start running to the front] Agent J: Yeah, now y'all runnin'! Now y'all- no, no, no, come on, sit down, sit down! It's only a 600 foot worm!
I had one of those "it's time to start living" moments recently, so I went to Amsterdam. It's funny because I partied a lot when I was younger, and I'm only 21, but I'm in a mellow stage of life right now.
[first lines] Mark, Angel, Maureen, Roger, Collins, Benjamin Coffin III, Mimi: Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes. Five hundred twenty-five thousand moments so dear. Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes. How do you measure, measure a year? In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights, in cups of coffee. In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife. In five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes - how do you measure a year in the life? How about love? How about love? How about love? Measure in love... seasons of love.
Ted: Sometimes when you're young, you have moments of such happiness, you think you're living in someplace magical, like Atlantis must have been? then we grow up and our hearts break into two.
Christopher "Chris" Wilton: [Holds up Nola's diary] have you seen this before? Christopher "Chris" Wilton: No [takes the diary and starts reading it] Detective Banner: Were you aware that Nola Rice kept a diary? Christopher "Chris" Wilton: [looks up after a few moments with a defeated looking expression on his face] no Detective Banner: Do you still claim that the last time you saw Nola Rice was at the Tate Modem over a year ago?
[on the Galactica's 1-MC after news of the attack came in] Adama: This is the Commander. Moments ago, this ship received word of a Cylon attack against our homeworlds is under way. We do not know the size or the disposition or the strength of the enemy forces, but all indications point to a massive assault against Colonial defenses. Admiral Nagala has taken personal command of the Fleet aboard the battlestar Atlantia following the complete destruction of Picon Fleet Headquarters in the first wave of the attacks. "How? Why?" doesn't really matter now. What does matter is that as of this moment, we are at war. You've trained for this. You're ready for this. Stand to your duties, trust your fellow shipmates, and we'll all get through this. Further updates as we get them. Thank you.
Kyra Silver: [Narration from trailer] On today's top story, the Valkyr crisis worsens with the murder of DEA Special Agent Alex Balder. Special Agent Balder had been shot repeatedly from a point-blank range. A suspect was seen leaving the site only moments after the shots had been fired, and the NYPD is currently in pursuit of Max Payne, a repeated felon, believed to be armed and extremely dangerous.
Max Payne: [Narrating] Alex and I had a few moments of glory between us. Crime fighting comrades, the best in NYPD-DEA collaborative team... Good-hearted macho bullshit like that. I would have given anything to have him here as my back up. No such luck. No luck at all.
Jamie: How can you see places like this... and have moments like this and not believe? Landon: You're lucky to be so sure. Jamie: It's like the wind. I can't... see it, but I feel it.
Eva Perón: I'm not that ill. Bad moments come, but they go. Some days are fine. Some a little bit harder. But that doesn't mean we should give up our dream. Have you ever seen me defeated? Don't you forget what I've been through and yet, I'm still standing.
Reporter: Thousands gathered to witness the maiden voyage of the Baron's technological marvel, Southland's newest wonder, the Treer MegaZeppelin. Reporter#2: ...at the hills above Los Angeles today, while on the ground, authorities are bracing the first riots since 1992. Reporter#3: You can see right there a car bomb went off just moments ago.
Maddy: Legs!... Legs! [running after her on the bridge] Maddy: where are you going? you dont have to go... stay with us, we're your family. Legs: You wanna come with me? [long pause] Legs: Look, I'm gonna do this ok [sticks out her thumb] Legs: and when a car stops you wont even have to think about it you just know and you decide. [truck stops a few moments later, Legs looks at Maddy with hope] Maddy: [cries] Maddy: I'll never forget you! Legs: [cries, walks toward the truck, clenched a fist and pats her chest] You're in my heart Maddy! [gets in truck and leaves]
Roy 'Tin Cup' McAvoy: Do you find me sexy? Dr. Molly Griswold: You have your moments. Roy 'Tin Cup' McAvoy: Well, you let me know which moments are my moments and I'll try and duplicate 'em.
Luther: You know those moments when a man makes a decision that'll change his entire life and he steps up to become the hero he was meant to be? This ain't one of those moments.
Garland Greene: [talking about Billy Bedlam] He's a font of misplaced rage. Name your cliché; Mother held him too much or not enough, last picked at kickball, late night sneaky uncle, whatever. Now he's so angry moments of levity actually cause him pain; gives him headaches. Happiness, for that gentleman, hurts.
Sam Witwicky: You're not gonna get me! You're not gonna get me! [runs into a building; moments later, Magatron smashes through a window] Megatron: I smell you, boy...! [senses Sam on the floor above him and bursts through, narrowly missing Sam] Megatron: MAGGOT!
Sgt. Whitman: You're wasting our time, there's nothing on this island but sheep and rocks! [moments later the soldiers find a large Nazi encampment in the ruins] Young 'Broom': They must be here for the sheep.
Joey: I'm gonna be on the Tonight Show? Oh my God! This is unbelievable. This is like one of those moments I've dreamed of my whole life. The only thing bigger than this would be like, I don't know, making my Oscar speech. Bobbie: [laughs] Oscar? Did you get tasered too?
Honey: Oh God, this is one of those key moments in life, when it's possible you can be really, genuinely cool - and I'm failing 100%. I absolutely and totally and utterly adore you and I think you're the most beautiful woman in the world and more importantly I genuinely believe and have believed for some time now that we can be best friends. What do YOU think?
[first lines] Narrator: How much of our past lives, the thousands of moments we experience, helps to make us who we are? If you took all of these remembrances, these memories, away, what would be left? How much is our personality, our identity, determined by the experiences we have, and how much is already there - pure "us"?
Anakin Skywalker: Ray shields. Obi-Wan: Wait a minute. How did this happen? We're smarter than this. Anakin Skywalker: Apparently not. I say patience. Obi-Wan: Patience? Anakin Skywalker: Yes. R2 will be along in a few moments and then... he'll release us from the ray shields. [R2 comes skidding across the hallway and bashes into the opposite wall] Anakin Skywalker: See? No problem.
